Letterpress – Word Game App Reviews

Its my favorite. Very simple to use. Love using strategies. Challenging when letter combinations are limited. Really fun when unique word choices are available. Recommend it for letter lovers.

The updates have vastly improved an already amazing game... though I very much miss the Facebook tie-in so I could easily connect with people I know; Im not a big fan of ONLY being able to play random folks. Am I missing something? No change to my rating though, it still gets a solid 5 stars!

Love the strategy required to choose words that capture tiles. Always challenging and never boring.

I want to thank and congratulate Letterpress crew for bringing these nice enhancements to an already terrific game. Its a terrific word game that stands the test of time. On other games I play, players usually repeat play with me, and often its a semi-permanent thing. However, on letterpress I find that players do not want to play me more than the 1 game. Regardless of whether it is I initiate or they initiate a Random Player game. Im curious as to why this happens. Keep up the good work Letterpress and thanks for caring enough to do so.

I love word games - Words, Scramble, Spelltower, crosswords, etc, but this is my game of choice for a quick distraction. Theres no luck and no secrets - its just about strategy and vocabulary. Beautifully simple interface. Now that theyve added chat, forfeiture for not playing in 5 days, and score keeping, theyve addressed all the features I wanted. Amazing game.

In both concept and quality of execution, this is a brilliantly done word game that holds up even after a couple of years of regular play. I suspect it also helps to challenge and exercise your vocabulary skills in the process.

Chat support and 5-day timeout. Nice. And lack of distracting ads. Refreshing to see an improvement in a new version--usually apps just get cluttered with ads and bugs in new versions. This is actually "new and improved"

I love this game! As long as my opponents dont use the Internet to cheat.

Ive been playing this game with my friends for years and it keeps getting better. My last complaint was lack of in-app chat & the last update took care of that. Bravo!

Because most of the time, game refresh doesnt work very well.

It would be even more so if we could play in other languages. Why not starting with French please :)
