I never tire of this game

It fun and easy. I always come back.

Great

Great game, but would love to see support for rankings.

Been playing for years!

Love the updates. Thanks especially for adding chat!

One of my favorites! Keeps getting better!

I have been playing this gem of a game for almost two years. Certainly got my $ worth. Love the updates, especially the stats. Ive been wanting to know my win/lose ratio for a long time. My favorite opponents are the long-game players that will stick with it for 200-300 words. One game went on for almost 2 months! Maybe the next update could include a lightening round? 1 minute limit per word.

FANTABULOUS!

This is a very exciting, fun game and very addictive. I highly recommend it to all word game lovers. Now it finally has chat, really kewl. The latest version seems to be working fine. I would still like to see a next button from each game, so I dont need to return to contact list so often. It can save a lot of time. Thank you very much. Elaine

Still fun after all this time

Letterpress is just fun. Its one of the best word games on iOS, and it has been since it was first introduced. Its funny that I saw a review complaining about Game Center not being reliable right above a review complaining that Letterpress doesnt use Game Center accounts anymore. Pick one, guys. Im ok with it ditching Game Center. Game Center is a mess. Apple needs more game playing employees who know how these things are supposed to work. In the meantime, Letterpress is still the addictive, interesting game it always was.

Much improved with new upgrades

And still a great word game

Improvements since 3.0 have been great!

The latest features have given this game new life. Well done!

The game I play the most

Letterpress is a straightforward but continually rewarding game that is best played by people you can trust. Cheating is easy — and generally easy to spot. If youre playing with friends or long-time opponents, this wont be a problem. Adding M-W Dictionary is also a nice upgrade.

Really clever game

Just when you thought word games had been done to death along comes Letterpress. Really creative game, fun gameplay, and great color commentary by the developer on each update. Id buy it again and again, but iTunes wont let me.

My preferred game!

Just need a place to save words I discover while I wait my turn

Wow, v3 has really stepped up the game

Very nice improvement over previous versions. Doesnt crash and I like having the stats! Way to go !!!

A good game ruined by new features

I have played this game every day for months, but I just took it off my phone. The addition of a new feature for word validation and a leader board have rendered it useless. The game used to be a simple competition of creating words on a matrix, and with the reasonable hope that your opponent would not cheat by using apps to find words for them. If you felt that someone was cheating, you could just stop playing with them. The first problem feature was word validation. Now there is no need to think of words and try them by submitting. You can just throw up all the letters you wish to use, and suffle them around until the signal lights up saying that you made a word. This change reduced the skill needed to win the game (without cheating). I have played many enjoyable games with one player. The last one ended when in a tight game I left him a board with K and V that needed to be used. He threw K and V to the top, and the signal came on - he had made a word. The word was KV. I would venture to say that without word verification he would not have played the word KV, which in any case is not a word found in online dictionaries. The real death blow to the game is the ranking board, though. Now people see that they can WIN. Who will be on the top of the rankings? (The most dedicated cheater). This results in new random games where the first move is an 18 letter word that captures half the board. The chat feature is a good add to the game, but I dont want to spend my time sorting through a dozen cheaters to get to someone who actually enjoys playing the game.

Rotten app, rotten support

Latest updates have removed the ability to play with Game Center friends so its worthless. It ticks me off that I paid for the upgrade and it hasnt worked right for months.

The great have fallen

Once was a great game. Riddled with connectivity issues.

great game

I have been playing this game for years and still love it. The chat feature is a bonus and If I had 1 wish , it would be a way to "store" more than 1 upcoming word I would like to use in a match since I have usually 4 games going at a time:). excellent game!

Great game

Simple, quick, fun. Nothing more to it.

Really fun game

Its a lot of fun and doesnt lose its novelty or playability. I just wish there was a network-free single-player mode.

Love LP!

Great game! The improvements in the latest version just made it better (e.g. Unable to submit a word that was already played or one that isnt allowed). If we play a game of well over 120 words the played word list turns into a black solid box. Other than that, no issues and days and days of nerdy word fun!

Time limit needed

This game is good but there needs to be a time limit for how long a person can come up with a new word. Some opponents take too long and this causes the other opponent to resign, resulting in an unfair win even if the resigner was winning. A 1 minute time limit should be installed and if that person doesnt answer in 1 minute, the other opponent wins the game.
