The old version was significantly better. The new restrictions prevented me from playing the word "colored." As in, I "colored" in the illustration. The message/reason the app gives is "NO BAD WORDS." What?! Thats your trip. Not mine.

Used to love this game, but no more. The frequent updating of the badge, indicating I have moves to play when I dont (or that I have 3 moves waiting when I only have 2 games going) is bad enough. But now youre policing the words I use? Not because theyre not words but because you consider them "bad"? Unconscionable. This will remain a 1-star review until you stop telling adults what words are acceptable.

The bad thing is with the latest iOS 9.3 update, Letter Press will no longer work on my iPhone 5s. The good thing is that it still works fine on my iPad Air. I have followed all of the listed "suggestions" to solve the problem and no luck. Its not often I would play on my phone but it is a great option have when I dont have my pad available. Please fix it. Thank you.

Love this game, but seriously how long does it take to fix notifications? They never, ever pop up, show on the lock screen or show in notification center. The badge is the only thing that sometimes works and its wrong at least 50% of the time.

Now Letterpress passes judgment on the words you play. If whatever powers that be deem your word "bad", you are not permitted to play it. They must be Trump supporters.

"No bad words" filters have no place in word games unless theyre made specifically for young children. It doesnt help that this implementation is blocking a ton of perfectly innocuous words. And it *really* doesnt help to see an error message thats scolding and condescending when this happens. So… whyd you buy Lorens app just to break the @$!?ing dictionary, you &);@ing pedants?

Moving the control to start a new game to the top of the list is pure genius.

Words are words. I feel like it takes away from the game to just take away legitimate plays but not allowing certain profane words, which are subjective anyway. Also never syncs up with Game Center. Been playing this for years and I still have zero points. Other than that, its amazing.

LOVE this game. Just wish there was an option to comment with your opponent.

I genuinely adore this game. I play it with my grandma while Im away at college. Weve stopped trying to beat each other and now our goal is to make all our boards symmetrical--a fun challenge. Heres the thing though. Our apps have stopped letting us play against each other. Theyll claim we have a new turn but not show it. And we can start as many new games as we want, the other player never seems to get the request. So we havent been able to play for months, which is really frustrating. I dont know whether it is a Game Center issue or the fault of the app itself, but we would SUPER appreciate a fix to this problem or advice on how to solve it.

the concept, gameplay, and design are great! I have been playing this app for 6 months with zero problems. A chat feature might be nice but only if it doesnt muck up an already clean app. A must have if you love word games!

I totally love playing this game and been addicted to it for several years. Now even my 8 year old wants to play too! Excited there are finally updates happening.

Other than the most annoying aspect being when you open or start a game, once you take a turn and the other player is notified you HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TURN OVER because it "glitches". If that aspect was remedied then this game would be a solid 4 stars for sure.

Hey Solebon, could you maybe let the players decide what a "bad" word is? Your new rules are infuriatingly patronizing. These words arent being published on your website, theyre being played between friends. Stay out of it.

Just challenging enough for casual play, very simple concept but it hits on many mental cues; space domination, vulnerability awareness, memory recall, but be careful for cheaters looking up words to use against you. Defeats the game a bit but thats how it is sometimes.

Yes, love this game. However have experienced some of the bugs which made me unhappy. Just the same, really enjoy playing when everything is going well.
